We
have some great Brown / Grizzly bear hunting.
Forget
drawing for a bear tag or hunting a area that only allows you to take a bear once
every four years.
Our areas allow you to hunt
and take a bear every year. Theres a reason for that. We have a lot of Bears.
Our
Bears are salmon eating Brown bears that grow as big as any bears in the world.
Things
have been changing over the last 30 years. Through out the 1980s in some
of the areas our guides hunt, it was rare to see a Brown bear. You might see 1
bear on a 10 day hunt and see 20 Moose or more.
Now,
you might not see a Moose but you could see 20 or more bears.
Why
pay $15,000 to $19,000 for a Kodiak or other permit ?
Five
of our camps in 2005 saw 15-20 bears. If the weather allows you to hunt most of
your hunt and allows us to fly so we can move you if we need too, we feel everyone
that books a bear hunt should be able to take a nice bear.
If
you are a member of SCI, our area produces the top Grizzly bears in the world.
The
reason ? They are really Brown bears but SCI classifies them as Grizzlies.
